A bit about me..

It is with immense gratitude and joy that I introduce myself—I'm Sheeza. My passion for nurturing a love of learning has been the guiding light throughout my 17-year journey as an educator. Driven by positivity and a deep commitment to compassionate leadership, I am dedicated to advancing innovative learning experiences and fostering leadership excellence in education.

I embrace a compassionate, people-centered approach to leadership, valuing adaptability, optimism, and cultural sensitivity. As a team player who connects easily with people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, I find great joy in building inclusive, collaborative environments where everyone feels valued and supported.

As an active IB practitioner, my path has been a thrilling adventure across the IB continuum, encompassing the PYP, MYP, and DP. Each program has enriched my expertise and brought me profound fulfillment, empowering me to cultivate dynamic, student-centered learning environments.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles that have shaped and inspired me, including Head of School, Deputy Principal, Dean of Academics, and Programme Coordinator. I am also an IB Examiner for MYP French (Language Acquisition), MYP Personal Project (bilingual contexts), and DP French (ab initio and B SL). Additionally, my work as a Continuum Workshop Leader & Consultant, Team Chair, School Visit Team Leader, Evaluation and Programme Leader, and Reader has allowed me to give back to the global IB community. Each of these roles has provided me invaluable insights into diverse educational environments across the Asia Pacific and the Americas, where I have worked with inspiring educators and students in countries such as Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, the USA, and Vietnam.

Currently residing in the vibrant city of Brisbane, my family and I are passionate travelers. My husband, our 11-year-old daughter, and I seize every opportunity to explore new places, drawing inspiration from the rich diversity of cultures, cuisines, and people we encounter.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to equity, innovation, and lifelong learning. I am a firm believer that education should be a catalyst for positive change, empowering students, educators, and communities to realize their fullest potential.
